A group from the choir took part in a fundraising walk on Saturday 18 April 2026.
This involved walking between 12 sites in London where musicians were born, lived or died – ranging from Eric Coates to Handel and Flanders and Swann to Sibelius! We stopped at each site to learn a little about each musician and their life in London.
Monies raised have gone to support the choir’s concerts, and also to Apollo Music Projects, a charity which takes live classical music to children who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience any (click their logo, below, to go to their website).
